Our Brand Story

In May 2020, right during the pandemic, a 20-ish Lyka Picardal from Davao City, created her brainchild, Casa Franca, an online store of homeware finds and lifestyle goods. As most of the people were spending much of their time at home during the pandemic, this business quickly spread like wildfire in Davao City and beyond. Her curation of handmade goods captured the attention of the local market, media, and even stores from Manila and Cebu who wanted to introduce her goods to the other parts of the country. The business amassed a good amount of followers and raving fans, more than enough to create new business ideas. 

Just after 5 months into the business, Lyka thought of other ways to serve more people. She started Casa Franca Studio, a social media agency, and Casa Franca Jewelry (now called Casa Franca Luxe). With Casa Franca Studio, Lyka used her skills in social media, marketing, and photography in helping businesses with their online presence. And with Casa Franca Jewelry, it used to be a sole reminder of her hard work, as she bought gold from the income she got from her two other businesses. She then turned it into a business as people were also looking for ways to invest their money through gold. 

In 2020 alone, she created 3 online businesses: Casa Franca, Casa Franca Studio, and Casa Franca Jewelry. All registered with DTI. 

Unfortunately in 2022, her jewelry account on Instagram, Casa Franca Jewelry, got deactivated. So a new account was created under Casa Franca Luxe with a slight change in the name. In 2022, she got back to sourcing luxury goods while traveling, hence, the name. 

Casa Franca Luxe has increased its clientele, which prompted Lyka to move from Davao City to Manila then Cavite. The move allowed the business to expand its reach, serve a bigger clientele, and connect with more suppliers in and out of the Philippines. The core mission has always been the same: to provide real, fine jewelry made of gold, diamonds, and gemstones while serving the customers to the best of our ability through exceptional customer service.
